SIREN changes its full name to Solar Indiana Renewable Energy Network. Since 2008, SIREN has been a leading educator and promoter of renewable energy sources and energy conservation in south central Indiana. Through the years, we began reaching audiences well beyond that part of the state, going north as far as Gary and Lafayette and northeast as far as Muncie. Our main focus is on solar energy, and we have helped people all over Indiana to embrace and adopt solar energy systems so it seems only natural for us to drop the Southern in our name and replace it with Solar! Our mission remains the same — to promote a cleaner and healthier environment in our state.
